Kragujevac is the
founder of the World Union of the City Victims and the Peoace Messenger
of cities. Kragujevac itself has been a
victim of war in the past. For its contribution to peace, Kragujevac
was recognized as "Peace Messenger" by the United Nations. Kragujevac
was also awarded with the "Peace Medal" by the France’s Verdun.
