largest city of the District of Sumadija and the fourth largest
city in the Republic of Serbia.
The total population is estimated at 180.252. The City comprises
57 settlements with 76 local communities. The urban population
accounts for 153.305 and the rural 26.947
Sex breakdown: The female population is estimated at 51%, male
49%. Capable workforce accounts for 65.2% of the population. In
the Republic the figures are 60.6% in favor of Kragujevac.
